This January, HUD announced that it would be seeking public comment on protections relating to manufactured housing as part of their overall review of these policies. Public comment will be accepted through February 28th. It is expected that the result of this review will elimination of protections that industry groups consider expensive. On our call on the 21st we'll discuss how to make our voices heard to ensure that important safety protections for residents of manufactured homes are not eliminated through this review. We'll also discuss using this review as an opportunity to draw attention to the many areas where HUD should do more to protect manufactured homeowners.
