The race for the House is well underway, and talking to voters in key districts is one of the single most important ways you can do to make sure we win. Join us and local progressive groups to talk to voters with the crucial goal of turning out the Democratic vote for the November 2018 midterm election which is just 4 months away. Our Democratic candidate Mike Levin won the June primary. Now we are out to finish the job of flipping Congressional district 49 by electing Mike Levin.

Meet outdoors at a location to be determined at 11:30 am or alternatively meet in Claremont in front of 21 Choices in the Packing House in downtown Claremont at 10:15am. From San Diego County please let me know by email if you are interested in carpooling.

We will use an electronic cell phone based app for collecting data, and paper with lots of room for notes of your conversation with the voters. Your notes will help shape our subsequent actions. If you have never canvassed before, this is an easy way to get started! We will provide training and materials some of which we will send to you to review at your own pace several days before the canvass. If you are new to canvassing you will be paired with an experienced canvasser. Mainly just bring yourself, comfortable walking shoes, ask a friend to join you, plan on having fun and be sure to RSVP here.

11:30 – 12:15 training, getting partnered and handing out materials in the park

12:15 – 2:45 canvassing with partners

2:45 – 3:00 debriefing, returning surveys and materials
