Join the NYS Poor People's Campaign for a coordinated nation-wide rally to deliver our 14 legislative demands!

We will be rallying to deliver our legislative demands outside of the State Capitol Building at the Washington Ave entrance, starting at 12 pm EST, while state organizers from across the nation do the same. To deliver our demands, we will be mailing, emailing, and taping our demands on the door of the State Capitol Building! There will be a number of speakers and a press conference.

A live broadcast starting at 3 pm EST will report back the events from across the nation.

We stand united with folks across the country as they too deliver the Poor People’s Campaign 14 Policy Priorities to the legislative leaders and governor at their state capitals. Together, we are bringing attention to the impact of policies which promote systemic racism, poverty and inequality, the war economy and militarism, environmental devastation, and a corrupt moral narrative.

Due to COVID-19, we are asking that all participants wear double masks and remain at least 8 feet apart at all times. If you are feeling the slightest of symptoms, we ask that you stay at home and watch the program online.
