The Moving Florida Forward initial Recovery Community Open Forum will aim to collect information from Florida residents about the most pressing needs facing our state in relation to substance use disorder and behavioral health issues. Leaders from across the state will weigh in and absorb information collected from citizens so that it may later be organized and delivered to Florida lawmakers. The time for organized action is upon us. No one is coming to save those suffering from substance use disorder, we must shoulder the responsibility ourselves. Only with a large and coordinated constituency can we hope to alter policy surrounding what is arguably the number one criminal justice and public health issue in this country.

As a resilient community, we must come together to focus on solutions and how we will get through this trying time together. This conversation will impact the work that we all do to support community members of Florida in all stages of recovery. This is why WE NEED YOU!
