Mutual Aid and Emergency Preparedness - Initial Response Training

Start: Thursday, February 09, 202312:00 PM

End: Thursday, February 09, 2023 5:00 PM

Join Clean Air for an afternoon to strengthen our mutual aid responses to emergencies and to learn life-saving medic skills with trainers from Erie County Department of Health.

We will talk about how mutual aid is a crucial element to disaster response and about related key skills, like establishing Mutual Aid pods and conducting community asset maps. We will then transition into a training with Erie County Department of Health on how and when to use Narcan, how to do hands-only CPR, and how to Stop the Bleed. Training participants will receive an emergency preparedness kit.

Childcare and lunch will be provided. If you need additional accommodation, such as translator services, please contact us.

This training is limited to 15 people - please register today. This form will cap at 20 registrations to allow for a waitlist - we will notify you if you are on the waitlist and if there are any cancellations.

The training space is on the second floor in the large church banquet hall; an elevator is available.
