NAACP February First Thursday Town Hall

Start: Wednesday, February 06, 2019 6:30 PM

Virginia is one of the few states in America that allows powerful corporations and other wealthy donors to make unrestricted campaign contributions to candidates for the General Assembly. It is past time to declare that the Commonwealth of Virginia is no longer for sale to the highest bidder. Every member of the General Assembly will be up for election in 2019, and the flood of corporate money has already begun flowing into campaign accounts.

The Forum will include progressive state legislators, candidates, and advocates discussing measures to address the issue and listen to your views and concerns.
