What:

Volunteers, and organizations from all over the country will “hit the streets” for National Voter Registration Day. Teams will be sent to neighboring businesses to register people to vote. Program with music, food and entertainment after the blitz.

Voter Registration Training/Mobilization: 2:30pm – 5:00pm

Program: 5:30pm-6:30pm

Why:

Our local Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) and Latino partner organizations are teaming up to host an event to acknowledge and participate in National Voter Registration Day. Our goal is to create awareness and to celebrate our mobilization efforts to register voters in our community. This single day of coordinated field, technology and media efforts will create pervasive awareness of voter registration opportunities–allowing us to reach tens of thousands of voters who we could not reach otherwise.
