All across North Carolina, communities are pushing back against the impacts of data centers. We need leadership from our state legislators on issues like high electric bills, water usage, non-disclosure agreements, toxic chemicals, air pollution, lack of jobs, surveillance, and noise pollution.

Join together with communities from across North Carolina to lobby your state senator and state representative to protect our communities from the impact of data centers!

Folks will meet throughout the day with their legislators, make it when you can.

12pm- Press conference with community leaders from areas fighting data centers! Location to be determined.

Here are the 2 things to do, if you want to participate in the NC Data Center Grassroots Lobby Day:

1. REGISTER using this form! We need to be in touch to get you info you need on the day!
2. Request a meeting (THE SOONER THE BETTER) with your legislators. Find your state representative, senator, and their legislative aides’ emails by entering your address at this site: ncleg.gov/FindYourLegislators

Here is a sample email to make that request. SEND THAT EMAIL THIS WEEK, it only takes a second. Then forward steph@cwfnc.org the email when you get a response from their office! (Remember to fill in the info inside the brackets in this email template):
