We are a bi-partisan group of concerned healthcare professionals in North Carolina who will be gathering to send a message to Senator Thom Tillis: Dont take away healthcare from our patients! Dont repeal or defund Obamacare, Medicaid, or Planned Parenthood. Thom Tillis should vote NO on repeal without simultaneous replacement that provides the same quality coverage to as many people as the Affordable Care Act. Repealing the health law without a guaranteed comprehensive replacement plan is risky and irresponsible. Repealing the ACA puts 30 million people at risk to lose care across the country. More than 400,000 people will lose care in North Carolina . Block grants and per capita caps are cuts to Medicaid and shift costs to the states requiring cuts to care. They do not promote innovation and put the most vulnerable at risk.
