Join fellow NEU SEND professionals for our yearly, East Midlands SEND conference for a mix of CPD and discussions

Hosted by the East Midlands' own, Wendy Hardy (NEC Member). There's opportunities to hear from and ask questions of an expert panel including Debs Gwynn (NEC, SENCO and activist), Jenny Cooper (a rep, activist and expert) and Karam Bales (NEC, support staff worker and activist).

Along with these experts & activists, there's three workshops to choose from:

The Identification of SEND Post-lockdown, led by Alex Grady, an experienced education officer with NASEN and currently a head of Whole School SEND.

Effective Support for Children and Young People with SEND, led by Jamie Galpin, a chartered Developmental Psychologist and education officer at NASEN.

Supporting Vulnerable Groups Through Periods of Unexpected Change, led by Cait Cooper, Deputy Director for Mental Health and Wellbeing in Schools at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families.
