Host Guidelines - Global Day of Action Against NATO

On 4 April 1949, NATO was founded "to keep the Soviets out, the Americans in, and the Germans down," as Hastings Ismay, its first Secretary General, once said.

Since then, it has been a violent force against democracy and liberation all around the world, with Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru calling it “one of the most powerful protectors of colonialism”.

On its 75th anniversary, progressive forces around the world are calling for a Global Day of Action Against NATO. Our message is simple: NATO out! If your organization can organize a protest or action on the day, please register it through this website. This will help individual activists take part on the day.
