Host Guidelines - October 10th Day of Action

Thank you for hosting an event in your area. It's up to you whether it's a press conference a rally or a peaceful protest.

It's easier than you think.

1 - Pick a time, date and location - One of the easiest places is outside your local Senator or Member of Congresses office, but it could be outside a clinic or pharmacy, too.

2 - Find speakers with stories to share - Everyone knows someone who has trouble affording the skyrocketing RX prices. Ask around and pick 2-3 people with moving stories. Pick one person to moderate and keep anyone from speaking too long!

3 - Spread the word to folks know your event is happening. Invite other groups to join. Email and share on FaceBook. And be sure to call and text people too!

Thanks again for hosting an event in your area. Yours will be one of dozens of event happening on the same day all over the country!

If you have questions you can email myles.duffy@gmail.com

The shorter and more descriptive, the better.
Virtual events do not require a location, but virtual events with a location will appear on the event campaign map. (Those without a location will appear in search results only.) At least a ZIP/postal code is required for map placement for virtual events.
Select the timezone in which your event will take place.
Add Banner Image (optional)

Upload an image or banner below. Your image should be 1500px wide by any height (600px is suggested). It will be scaled to a final size of 750px wide.

Okay!
This is shown to people before they RSVP. Let them know what the event will be like and why they should attend.
