AUWU beanies and scarves have arrived! We'll be handing them out free to unemployed workers and welfare recipients in Newcastle at a meetup from 1:00 PM on Thursday the 24th of August at Bernie's Bar, 410 King Street, Newcastle.

Grab a beanie, scarf, and some of our new rights fact sheets, meet fellow AUWU members and supporters, and help plan future union events and actions. Food and drinks will be provided and help with transport is available if needed, just email and let us know.

There has never been a better time to get involved. Help us in the fight against poverty and the cruel mutual obligations system that is tormenting unemployed workers.
