Thank you for RSVPing to attend my Swing Left NJ-05 Vote Pledge Phone Bank Party! We're calling NJ-05 to talk to voters and collect Vote Pledges from supporters. During this party, we will be using phone lists provided by the NJ-05 incumbent Democrat Josh Gottehimer's campaign, so the calls will be well-targeted and friendly! Before we start calling, we'll go over and practice the script, learn how to record the information, and discuss general tips and tricks to use while phoning and/or talking to voters.

After that, we'll start calling NJ-05, asking those we speak with to pledge to vote inthe 2018 midterm elections to keep NJ-05 blue and help swing the House left! In addition to the time we spend calling voters, we'll also spend time making sure that any updated information we get is gathered correctly, and we'll take breaks as needed to compare notes and discuss any issues that may come up during our phone calls.

We'll also create vote pledge post cards for those we talk to who are interested, to help bump up the midterm Democratic turnout by a proven 4%! Committing to vote is proven to turn out the vote, and in these swing districts, 4% is a great boost!

A few things to keep in mind:

1) Don’t worry if you’ve never done something like this before. We’ll provide the phone script and a list of voters to call.

2) Remember to bring your own mobile phone, laptop computer or tablet, chargers, and headphones to make the calls!

3) I'll provide easy access to electricity!
