NJSEA Takes the PARCC

Start: Wednesday, February 25, 2015 7:00 PM

High-stakes standardized testing has come to the forefront of education this school year.  The PARCC, especially, has been in the spotlight.  It claims to be a new standardized way of assessing students' readiness for their futures, calling upon students in grades 3-11 to take this Common Core based test and pass at least one.

Yet, how do these tests impact the students, parents, teachers and community?  How do these tests impact education as a whole?  In what way do they represent and define public education?

Come explore the ambiguity of the PARCC with NJSEA.  You may not believe what you discover.
