Concluding the 2022 California Small Farm Conference, join us at the in-person regional gathering for the North Bay! This free, outdoor event includes 3 parts. Guests are welcome to attend any or all of them.

1 - 2:30 pm     FARMERS: Adaptive Markets: Farming During Crisis workshop

                        or

AG SERVICE PROVIDERS: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion training, details here)

3 - 4 pm            Farm Tour

4 - 6 pm            Social Mixer (all welcome!)

PART ONE:

The day kicks off with a workshop for farmers of all experience levels on managing direct markets (farm stands, CSA, farmers markets, e-commerce, etc.) in the face of adversity. From wildfires to floods to global pandemics, farmers in the North Bay have had to navigate multiple crises over the past few years. Come hear from farmers who've successfully adapted to these catastrophes and then join us for an interactive conversation about preparing your own farm, come what may. Hosted by: CAFF, Sonoma County Farm Trails and UC SAREP.

PART TWO:

Take a tour of Green Valley Farm + Mill, an 100 + acre property outside Sebastopol, CA. Multiple, interwoven land-based businesses operate on the land, including a small dairy, farm, vineyard, wildfire mitigation project, and more.

PART THREE:

Whether you're a farmer or a local food advocate, come to mix, mingle and enjoy snacks and drinks as we decompress in good company from this year's virtual conference. Come share your thoughts, questions, reflections, or just reconnect with friends, new and old.

RSVP here.
