Aged 13-18? At school or college? Help build the National Union of School Students!

For too long, school students in England, Scotland and Wales have lacked a voice in politics. In other European countries, students lead democratic organisations called school student unions which allow them to raise their concerns with the government directly. With votes at 16 coming soon, there has never been a better time to bring this to Britain.

Volunteers will lead on all elements of the organisation, meet other youth campaigners, and get access to political engagement, campaigning & comms trainings this summer. Don’t miss out!

This project is being supported by NUS (The National Union of Students, univeristy and colleges) and youth environmental charity SOS UK. Whilst NUSS is in its incubation stage, we are operating under SOS UK’s safeguarding policy. Soon, NUSS will have its own safeguarding policy, assessed by independent experts. This open call will be hosted by a minimum of two staff from SOS UK and NUS who are DBS checked.
