We have less than a month to go in the legislative session, which means we've got to TURN UP THE HEAT to PASS the NY HEAT Act!

Albany lawmakers think they have "done enough" on climate and energy this year, but it's up to us to let them know they have not! They must also protect New Yorkers from rising energy costs and create a real plan to replace our leaky, toxic, ever-expanding gas system with cheaper, cleaner heating and cooling by passing the NY HEAT Act.

At 12:30pm, we will gather for a rally and press conference on the Million Dollar Staircase in the NYS Capitol Building. We’ll also try to set up some lobby visits with key legislators afterwards, but no lobbying or policy experience is needed to attend - we'll walk you through it! We'll have a bus from Manhattan with some boxed lunches - please indicate on the form on the right if you're interested in joining us on the bus, or in signing up for a carpool from elsewhere in New York State here.

Also, if you need a Metrocard to get you to and from the bus, we will have a roundtrip MTA Metrocard to make sure everyone can make this action!
