Join the NYS Poor People's Campaign Media Team for a workshop on how to plan and videotape interviews about the plight, fight and insight of the poor and dispossessed.
This is a key way we can advance our strategy of "Shift the Narrative by Shifting the Narrator" in our movement to confront and end the interconnected evils of systemic racism, poverty, militarism, and ecological devastation.
The workshop will cover the following:
- How to use your phone to document interviews with attention to both sound and picture.
- How to prepare for conducting an interview.
- How to write questions for an interview.
- How to ensure that you are getting a complete story in the interview.
- How to ask your questions to get the most out of the interviewing.
No prior experience necessary!
This workshop will be held over Zoom. Register and the call info will be sent to you.
