Last year has been an incredible one for Oxford Green Party gaining some of our best ever results in general and local elections. Our councillors have been able to make real changes in housing, litter and transport. At the same time wider forces have been at work, we have seen the warmest ever summer in the Northern hemisphere, fascists on our streets and this winter too many will be freezing in houses across Oxford.

We need to keep communicating Green councillors current work to our communities and pushing onwards to elect new Greens. Please come along meet Greens, enjoy amazing food and help Get the Green voice out.

• Pushed the city council to adopt a pioneering policy on trans rights.
• Secured a commitment from the Council to roll out a scheme of free period products.
• Been at the heart of efforts to clean up transport - pushing for low traffic neighbourhoods and better active travel infrastructure.
• Persuaded the Council to call for the government to allow councils to control private sector rents.
• Got the City Council to call for Thames Water to clean up its act on pollution, and called for water to be taken into public ownership.
