A link to attend this virtual event will be emailed upon RSVP

Join Brother Moji Agha (Mojtaba Aghamohammadi), Iranian-American reformist Muslim Sufi "monk" and a bilingual poet/writer for a discussion on the Iranian Nonviolence project. Brother Moji's project seeks to connect Iranian peace and nonviolence advocates with their American counterparts to build connections and synergies to support one another in our work and to prevent warfare between our nations.

A "Chomskyan Activist" for 4 decades, Brother Moji Agha has had extensive academic, professional, and clinical backgrounds in psychology, cultural (and ecological) studies and conflict understanding and healing. Brother Moji's peace, justice, human rights, democracy, interfaith dialogue, and Mother Earth activism includes founding non-profit "decolonization" projects like: Native/American Truth and Reconciliation (NATR) Initiative, Abraham's Peace Tent , Islam as Nonviolence Education Series, Mossadegh Legacy Institute, Circles of Nonviolence/Community Collaboratives (Circles Movement of Movements) Initiative, International Institute to Study Climate Change in the Islamic World, and Universal Coalition for Interfaith and Intercultural Knowledge and Action.

Moji will also be joined by Jim Blok, a retired US Army Major (serving as a psychologist) who is the Co-host of Iranian Nonviolence.

The program will run from 7-8 pm Eastern. Moji will stay on for a more informal conversation if folks are interested.

About NHPA’s bi-weekly Zoom Peace & Justice Conversation Series: 2020’s upheavals brought us to a new moment of reckoning and possibility. How do we want to live in the world? What do we value? How can we make the changes we’ve been yearning for? NH Peace Action has been engaged in working for change for decades. We’d like to bring you into these conversations about issues and options for the future.  There is no charge to attend, but your contributions in any amount are greatly appreciated.
