Peoples' Climate March (French below)
For future generations : respect for the Earth, its people and women...
On the 29th of April, the People’s Climate March is expected to bring together hundreds of thousands of people in Washington DC and elsewhere around the world. We wish to call attention to the first 100 days of the Trump presidency, which continues its attacks on the climate and the environment. In Geneva and elsewhere around the world, similar marches will take place because the problem is not only an American one. Here, as elsewhere, the disturbance of the climate is dramatically accelerating. The time we have left to react is dwindling. Special interests hinder, even block, the inescapable transformation of our societies.
In the face of such denial and in order to guarantee durable and sustainable living conditions for future generations, we must be determined and take our future into our own hands.
Join us in Geneva on the 29th of April at 1:30 PM, rue du Mont-Blanc, at the exit of Cornavin train station : let's march together !

Ce 29 avril, « The Peoples Climate March » devrait rassembler des centaines de milliers de personnes à Washington pour marquer les 100 jours du régime Trump, qui poursuit inlassablement ses attaques contre la protection de l'environnement et du climat. A Genève et ailleurs, des marches similaires auront lieu, car le problème n'est pas qu'américain ! Ici comme là-bas, le dérèglement climatique s'accélère de manière dramatique. Le temps pour réagir s'amenuise. Des intérêts particuliers ralentissent – voire bloquent – les transformations inéluctables de nos sociétés.
Face au déni actuel, soyons déterminés et prenons notre avenir en main afin d'assurer des conditions d'existence durables aux générations futures.
