Philly Climate Strike

Start: Friday, September 20, 201911:00 AM

End: Friday, September 20, 2019 2:00 PM

On September 20, three days before the UN Climate Summit in NYC, young people and adults will strike all across the US and world to demand transformative action to address the climate emergency. Millions of us will take the streets to demand a right to a future, and we’re inviting you to #strikewithus.

In Philadelphia, PA, we will be joining the global movement with a rally and march to demand that our elected officials commit to fighting the climate crisis by implementing a municipal Green New Deal. We want it to include:

  1. 100% renewable energy by 2030
  2. No new fossil fuel projects
  3. A just transition to a renewable economy
