Join us for a supportive Zoom co-working and phone banking event as we push to increase access to mental healthcare in Illinois!
The Improve Network Adequacy and Access for Behavioral Health Bill (HB1085) is a proposed law requiring insurance companies to pay therapists more adequately. The bill will help ensure that therapists are compensated fairly and make it easier to continue accepting insurance, increasing mental health care access for all Illinoisans.
Right now, our therapists are overworked and underpaid, leading to a shortage of care for people experiencing mental health crises. These unfair practices must end—and this bill is a critical step forward.
We need YOUR help to make sure this bill passes! Will you join us in advocating for better mental health care by contacting your state Senator and Representative? All you need to do is send them a letter urging them to support HB1085 and help us ensure more people can access the care they deserve.
