No More Loopholes!

While a ceasefire has been announced, we know Israel's track record for violating these agreements, and a truly free Palestine only happens when countries like Canada end their complicity in Israel's genocide and Palestinians are free to live on their own land. That's why we're gathering to call and email our MPs to support MP Jenny Kwan's new bill, No More Loopholes, to cut off the massive flow of Canadian-made military components that reach Israel through the US loophole.

The only way this bill will pass and become law is if we push our MPs to vote for it.

Take action with us! On Thursday, November 13 at 7:00 p.m. we’ll gather to discuss how to effectively contact your MP, whether through a phone call or email, and you'll have the chance to craft your own personalized message to demand that your MP vote in support of the No More Loopholes Bill.

What is a phone zap? It’s when a group of people get together and simultaneously call or email their MPs and elected representatives demanding direct action on a specific issue. The “zap” is us forcing attention on the issue because we’re collectively flooding inboxes at the same time. It’s simple, it’s effective, and it's something we can do together!

We’ll meet virtually to review a template and some talking points you can use, and share contact information for MPs and federal representatives. Then, together, we make calls and send emails, demanding that our MPs take action now.
