Pittsburg High School is organizing an event to remember and honor all victims of gun violence, and a call for action to keep our school and community safe.

In Pittsburg, we have tragically lost too many students, former students, friends, and loved ones due to gun violence. We want to honor them and remember them on this day.

Events will include:

-A memorial “wall” to remember victims of gun violence.

-An open mic speakers event.

- A mass “die-in” where students will lay down silently for 3 minutes, to represent the 2000 plus victims of gun violence in 2018.

-Petition signing and video messaging to Government officials.

-A voter registration drive.

-Booths manned by various social service organizations, local politicians

-Artwork, banners, music etc.
