Last fall, fossil fuel developer Balico, LLC proposed to build a massive methane gas plant and dozens of data centers in Chatham, Virginia. But, after tremendous community opposition, the company withdrew its request. Now, Balico has submitted a new, smaller design that will be before the Pittsylvania County Planning Commission on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
