Planning Meeting for the

People's Climate Mobilization

Please join us to help plan Philly's participation in this spring's People's Climate Mobilization in Washington, DC!

At the Women’s Marches this past weekend, we saw the impact that large scale mass actions can have! On April 29 (Earth Day), it will be the turn of the People's Climate Mobilization to bring hundreds of thousands of people to Washington, to demand climate justice, an end to the use of fossil fuels, and immediate steps to create a just and sustainable alternative.

350.org, both nationally and here in Philadelphia, is joining with dozens of other environmental, social justice, and labor organizations to build a huge turnout on April 29. Given our city’s proximity to DC, we can play an important role. We have some serious work to do to build a powerful coalition that can get out the word and build participation.

Please bring your ideas for organizing buses, creating posters and banners, social media, press conferences, and more. Everyone is welcome!

Note: The entrance for City CoHo is at 24th and Sansom Street, on the lower level. If you are on Walnut Street, walk down the stairs next to the Good Karma Cafe, then head north on 24th Street to Sansom.
