Join us on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025, for a call to prepare for the Global Day of Education to #CloseBases!
On this call, experts on military bases from around the world, including Rachel Small, David Swanson, David Vine, and Greta Zarro, will help you develop plans to host or participate in a local educational event about the need to close bases on October 4, 2025, the Global Day of Education to #CloseBases.
The upcoming day of education will continue the momentum from the successful Global Day of Action to #CloseBases on February 23, and Global Day of Media Action to #CloseBases on July 14, 2025.
The timing for this Zoom call is Friday, September 5 at 8 a.m. in Beijing, 9:00 a.m. in Tokyo, 10 a.m. in Sydney, 12:00 noon in Auckland, and
Thursday, September 4 at 2:00 p.m. in Honolulu, 5:00 p.m. in Los Angeles, 6:00 p.m. in Mexico City, 8:00 p.m. in New York.
