We are asking individuals to participate in a one day hunger strike in person or remotely on Friday the 1st from 7 AM ET to 7 PM ET. We are also asking individuals to join a power hour at 12 PM ET to call our representatives and let them know that we desperately need a permanent and lasting ceasefire now.

Hunger strike pledge

I stand with all people of conscience in calling for a permanent and lasting ceasefire in Gaza. Knowing that starvation is being used as a weapon of war against Gaza civilians, I commit to:

1. Join a one day hunger strike on December 1st to say: President Biden, you are starving Gaza. We demand a permanent ceasefire now!

2. While on hunger strike, I will also call my elected representatives with this demand, during the 12 PM ET power hour through AFSC.
