Thank you for signing up to attend the Basic Income March event, and joining us in Portland to show that our community deserves financial security because We are the Economy.
When our government bails out corporations, the market, and big businesses...we know there's enough money to provide financial security to the people so no one can fall through the cracks into houselessness and financial ruin. Our future is facing mass evictions and an economic despair that will cause so much emotional pain that we know can be avoided.

We will be gathering in the field by NE 10th Ave & NE Fremont Ave to share stories of why we support Basic Income, and also be holding signs to the streets!  
There will be an Eviction Art Installation to observe that highlights the 1529 people of color experiencing housing insecurity in Multnomah County in January 2020 that asks how a Guaranteed Income can help address basic needs.

With $2000 Monthly Payments, a Basic Income would inject $926 Million Dollars directly into our community every single month.
Let's envision what our Portland could look like with Universal Basic Income.
