Portland Teach-In and Nonviolent Direct Action Training
On Monday, May 14th, we will gather in Salem and begin 40 Days of Moral Action to shift the narrative around poverty and launch a long-term sustained campaign to address the systemic causes of racism, poverty, militarism, and ecological devastation.

In the weeks leading up to the 40 Days of Moral Action, people across the state are gathering for day-long Teach-in and Nonviolent Direct Action Trainings where we will:
• build relational power
• ground the movement in song and art
• learn the details of the 40 Days of Moral Action, including weekly direct action
• train in nonviolent philosophy and tactics
• engage in political education
