Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day by joining us at Audubon Estates for the Annual Alice Ferguson Foundation Potomac River Watershed Cleanup Day! We are partnering with Washington Metropolitan Chapter Community Associations Institute to clean up Little Hunting Creek!

Come meet your neighbors - get your feet wet and the trash out!

Parking
Parking is extremely limited at the meeting point (address above) and as such cars will likely need to park elsewhere and walk to the community center. If arriving by car, plan to park outside of the community (e.g. Costco parking lot, Ladson Lane, Audubon Ave.) and walk to Audubon Estate office. From there we will have a car to shuttle participants back and forth to the clean up site.

The actual clean up will start from the end of Grackle Court, however there is not enough parking in the community to drive there.

What to wear and bring
We will be working around and in Little Hunting Creek. Please where an outfit that you don't mind getting muddy and possibly wet. A checklist of things should consider bringing include:

- Shoes you can get wet / knee high waterproof boots
- Change of socks/shoes
- Your own reusable water bottles
- A towel to dry off in case you get wet
- Bring your student learning service hours paperwork (if needed)

We look forward to seeing you there!
