Poughkeepsie tenants in rent stabilized buildings will have new rights: guaranteed lease renewals, protection against unfair rent hikes, and no rent hikes until the Rent Guidelines Board (RGB) meets to set the maximum allowable rent adjustments this year. Do not sign a new lease with an increase until the RGB votes.
