Topic for First Meeting, March 21.

  1. Purpose of Planning and Who Should Attend
  2. Electric Vehicles and EVSE Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment
  3. Learn about how to fund your vehicles, including fleets, how to charge them, and a general idea of cost and rebates available.
  4. Learn about the Federal Funding available (This is huge and will be ongoing)
  5. Discussion: who has projects, who wants to collaborate

Pacific Power has generously provided 350 Deschutes with a grant to do Equitable EV infrastructure planning in Central Oregon. These sessions are FREE and available to everyone.

We feel that this effort will encourage more effective and equitable collaborations and uptake of EV infrastructure. This will capitalize on accessing the $millions in funds soon to be available for these projects. (Some funds are available now) We also will provide orientation to the funding sources, how to put a project together, and ensure its longevity and access for all of the community, including the underserved. There are opportunities for everyone, including government, nonprofits, businesses, owners of commercial buildings, and underserved communities.


Once we have your email indicating your wish to participate (RSVP below) we will begin to send you materials. Our first step will be to identify participants, and topics, as well as planning groups for any entities wishing to work together. You will have continued opportunities for input.
