The Hedge Clippers campaign, a partnership of AFT, unions and community groups, is now working in ten states and Puerto Rico to expose and challenge the dangerous practices of hedge funds. We've already won some big victories with NYCERS recently voting to divest from hedge funds. Hedge Clippers is exposing the role of hedge funds and so-called "activist investors" in forcing job cuts, plant closures and dramatic price increases for life-saving prescription drugs.

The campaign has received widespread press coverage for exposing the greed of hedge fund managers, whose business practices hurt our members, unions and the economy.
