Join NETWORK Lobby for Catholic Social Justice for a timely webinar to explore how people of faith and good will can take action and mobilize their communities around climate-related legislative priorities. This webinar will last for one hour.

The second Trump administration's sweeping rollbacks across the Departments of Energy, EPA, and Interior threaten clean air, safe water, and all people, especially Black, Indigenous, brown, low-income, and other frontline communities. On the legislative side, Congress has two pieces of legislation: (1) the PERMIT Act, which further dismantles environmental safeguards; and (2) the Fix Our Forests Act, which promotes wildfire resilience and healthy ecosystems. Especially in this 10th anniversary year of Pope Francis' Laudato Si', Catholics know that caring for the Earth and the most vulnerable people on the planet is not an optional concern, but instead, a core expression of our faith.

Drake Starling, our Senior Government Relations Advocate for Energy and Environmental Policy, will present the issues and be in conversation with environmental advocates who work to protect their communities from pollution and toxic contamination.
