When the New York Power Authority put forth a plan to build nowhere enough renewables to meet our climate leading goals, we rose up.

Together, our unprecedented outpouring of public pressure has NYPA's former fossil fuel lobbyist president Justin Driscoll scrambling to put at least 3 more gigawatts on the table this year.

But it's not enough.

To turn New York into the kind of climate and green jobs model not even Trump can stop, we need NYPA to commit to building 15 gigawatts of Public Renewables by 2030, no less. We need leadership who will fight for 25,000 green union jobs, lower electricity bills, and an end to toxic emissions poisoning working class neighorhoods--not against them.
