Right now, thousands of New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS, experiencing homelessness, or at risk of losing their homes are under threat.

The federal administration has proposed devastating cuts to two life-saving housing programs: Continuum of Care (CoC) and the Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) program. If enacted, these cuts would eliminate essential services and force thousands back into homelessness — at a time when our communities can least afford it.

Without these programs, families, veterans, youth, domestic violence survivors, and seniors will be left without a safety net. Join our fight and demand our elected officials keep their hands off our housing by participating in your local day-of-action demonstration, where we bring together housing advocates, service providers, folks with lived experiences, and allies across New York to urge Congress to reject any cuts, fully fund these programs, and share stories to raise our collective voice.
