Rally Against RTW in Columbus

Start: Friday, August 21, 201510:00 AM

Our brothers and sisters in Ohio need our help to build a crowd for a Workers' Rally in Columbus on the morning of Friday, August 21. The purpose of the rally is to protest the national gathering of the extreme right-wing group called Americans for Prosperity (Koch Brothers) and their anti-worker agenda to make Right to Work the law of Ohio and the entire country.

Americans for Prosperity is holding its national Summit at the Columbus Convention Center and one of the conference sessions is entitled, “Right to Work: Understanding the Case for Worker Freedom of Choice.” With several high-profile presidential hopefuls and office holders already confirmed to speak at this Summit, including U.S. Senator Rob Portman, we need to send a very clear message that Ohioans reject this anti-worker message and any candidate that is associated with this extreme agenda.

We will assemble between 9:00 - 9:30 a.m. at McFerson Commons in the Arena District of downtown Columbus.

We hope you can join us to stand in solidarity against Right to Work in Ohio.
