March 22 - Meet at 3.30pm - Pitt St Mall, Sydney
All rebels and non-violent allies from across NSW are invited to join an Extinction Rebellion march!
We’re marching for an immediate just transition to renewables now! No gas-fired recovery!
We need to act now to halt biodiversity loss and reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2025!
Got a T-shirt from your anti-gas action? Wear it! Got a costume? Wear it! Have a whole crew to bring? Bring them!
We want to send a strong message to the Australian Government and fossil fuel industry that we don’t want a gas-fired recovery. We want a renewables recovery now!
We demand an immediate and just transition to renewables now!
The march will take place from Pitt St Mall, Sydney (King St end) up Pitt St to Belmore Park (near Central Station on Eddy Ave).
For those who have participated in Sydney's Saturday Parades this is a colourful slow walk through the city with lots of colour and noise. All are welcome to join.
