70% of New Yorkers are tenants and we keep New York running every day as nurses, cooks, construction workers, caretakers, teachers, and more. But high rents are driving us out of the city we love.

In the 2025 NYC mayoral election, we are calling on every candidate to commit to freezing rents for rent stabilized tenants and investing in safe, affordable housing for all if they want our votes.

We are aiming to collect 20,000 petitions from tenants demanding that mayoral candidates commit to freezing the rent and investing in our homes. Join our kickoff meeting to learn how you can help talk to thousands of tenants and build a powerful movement to freeze the rent!
