Join Climate Action Families for our Spring Outdoor Program in partnership with UW’s Society for Ecological Restoration: Repurposing Invasive Plants!
We’ll be doing a hands-on work party at Yesler Swamp to remove invasive species, then repurpose them into art. We’ll reconvene at the Douglas Research Conservatory to make star wands out of English Ivy and gather plants to make stamps out of nature’s designs!

This family-friendly event is a great opportunity to learn about local restoration efforts and how you can get involved in transforming the community. Wear clothes that can get dirty, sturdy shoes, and bring a full water bottle. SER-UW will provide gloves and tools. Join us, we’ll have snacks and light refreshments after the work party!
