For those of you who showed up at Vern's office on Monday, it was great to see you! We had about 50 people, and were forced to deliver our message while standing outside in the hot sun for "capacity" reasons. As you may know, next Monday is Presidents’ Day and Rep. Buchanan’s office will be closed. Our next action will be Tuesday, 2/21 at 2:45PM. One of the most effective ways to both communicate our concerns to Buchanan and possibly make national news is at a town hall event. To that end, our theme for next week will be asking Buchanan to hold a town hall meeting and to let his constituents know about it. Logistics-wise, it’s important that we all meet outside the office at 111 S Orange Avenue, Sarasota at 2:45PM and do not enter until we’ve had a brief discussion.
