This meeting will include a debrief of the successful campaign to maintain Milwaukee County's Right to Counsel program through 2025 and the strategies used.
We will then hold an open discussion and strategy session where we hope to lay out a plan for continued action to advocate for Right to Counsel, gauge interest in tenant advocacy and housing issues and build the framework towards a work plan to continue to address the housing challenges faced in our city.
This event is open to the public. You and your ideas are welcome!
All accessibility standards on the Milwaukee DSA In-Person / Hybrid Meeting Checklist (based on the Accessibility Standards for Meetings) will be met for this event to the best of our ability. Please note that we will meet at the Milwaukee DSA office on the second floor of Zao MKE Church, which is not wheelchair accessible. Do not hesitate to reach out to the host of this event as soon as possible if you will have trouble reaching the second floor; if we are informed in advance, we will do our best to find a room on the first floor to meet.
