In early September thousands of rallies will be held in communities around the world to demand our local leaders commit to building a fossil free world that works for all of us. We stand commited to keeping the Paris Climate Accord, doing all we can to mitigate our climate crisis.

Join us as we RISE together to celebrate local climate champions, remember the floods that have impacted so many, and learn ways we can cut our carbon footprint to address climate change. Greene Square Park will be filled with Renewable Energy exhibits, voter information and registration, music and art activities for kids of all ages.

Come learn about clean energy and sustainability with activities by these climate partners: IOWA 350, Sierra Club, Prairiewoods, IRENEW, League of Women Voters, United Nations, Linn County Public Health, Veterans for Peace, Interreligious Council, The Create Exchange, Linn County Solid Waste Agency & Kennedy HS Electric Car Team. The activities will be capped off with a march to Cedar River for a blessing of the water.
