On September 8, thousands of rallies will be held in cities and towns around the world to demand our local leaders commit to building a fossil free world that works for all of us.

We have decided to have one big regional action--in Tacoma on September 8th! Tacoma is the site of the massive LNG facility that PSE is building and that our green climate leading Governor supports. It's also the site of the Northwest Detention Center -- which is in the blast zone of the LNG facility. What better place to draw the connections between what our leaders (Gov. Inslee) are saying and what they are actually doing!

We are taking 15-person passenger vans down to Tacoma for the day! To reserve your seat, simply RSVP to this page...OR email 350Bellingham@gmail.com (subject line: VAN). Please include your name, email and cell. Vans will leave at 7am and return by 5:30pm. Action is from 10-2pm, and is family friendly. Plan to march. Route not specified yet. But it is a short march to the ICE Detention Center, where we will gather and support the efforts to #AbolishIce. We will be facing many climate refugees and the system needs changed!
