Support the re-election of our socialists in office during this petition season by helping us collect signatures in Astoria. During this shift, you will be collecting signatures on behalf of Zohran Mamdani, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and our allies in office.

We welcome volunteers of all skill levels to participate! We will use a buddy system, and a brief training session will be held before collecting signatures. If you are new to canvassing or just getting started, we always work in groups to knock on the doors of registered Democrats.

Before joining us:

• Wear comfortable shoes
• Bring a water bottle and face mask
• Make sure your cell phone is fully charged and MiniVAN is installed

To collect signatures:

• You must be a registered Democrat in New York State.
• You can check your voter registration status at https://voterlookup.elections.ny.gov/.

If you are not registered to vote, you can still volunteer during petitioning, but you won't be able to sign or witness ballot petitions. Don't worry, we will assign you other tasks. We welcome everyone to participate and look forward to seeing you there!
