A Webinar Presented By Mother Earth Justice Advocates

Tuesday June 15, 2021, 7 Pm (Saskatchewan Time)

Small Modular Reactors (SMR aka SMNR) are being pitched to the residents of Saskatchewan by the nuclear industry and various levels of government as clean green safe energy and as a solution to global climate change. But are they? Or are we being duped? First clue, ‘Nuclear’ is left out of the name of the pitch.

Accordingly, Mother Earth Justice Advocates invites you to a webinar to learn about Small Modular (Nuclear) Reactors on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 7:00 PM (SASKATCHEWAN TIME).

The evening will begin with a poetry reading by Bernadette Wagner from her manuscript, Situating Uranium.

Next will be presentations by three special speakers who will guide on how to engage in debunking the claims being made by the nuclear industry. They will also show us how we can collectively unite to stop the use of Small Modular NUCLEAR Reactors in Saskatchewan.

Dale Dewar: medical doctor and co-author of From Hiroshima to Fukushima to You

Jim Harding: Retired University of Regina professor and author of Canada’s Deadly Secret: Saskatchewan Uranium and the Global Nuclear System

Candyce Paul: Member of English River First Nation and leader of the successful Committee For Future Generations campaign to prevent the burying of nuclear waste in Northern Saskatchewan.

The evening will conclude with a question and answer session.

Mother Earth Justice Advocates looks forward to your presence. Together we can and will be a strong voice to keep Saskatchewan a safe place for each of us and for future generations. Please share this information far and wide.
