Join us in saying NO to the Arch

What: Hand out Zines about the Triumphal Arch and then Pack the Hearing Room

Come help Third ACT DMV pack the room at the National Capital Planning Commission meeting on Thursday, June 4, when the Commission will hear comments and discuss the proposed Arc d' Trump planned for Memorial Circle.

We will gather outside the Commission office, 901 F Street, NW, at noon on Thursday to hand out zines about the Arch, and then shortly after 12:30 anyone who wants to attend the meeting will head inside to get a seat. Those who wish to continue handing out informational zines are encouraged to do so.

Third ACT DMV recently held a 3-day vigil against the Arch, and we got a lot of media attention. The Arch is not popular with most citizens, and Alexandria's Congressman Don Beyer has recently introduced a bill to stop the Arch from being built. !
